How often can I visit my dog?

Give your dog 10 days to adjust to their new lifestyle in the kennel and then you are welcome to come as aften as you’d like, pending schedules. We encourage all owners to come to training days and be as involved as they desire. Please note: we are still people too and have schedules / families. So, we can’t always accommodate every persons scheduling but we do try our best.

Do you train owners as well?

Yes! We pride ourselves in the fact that whenever a dog graduates our training program that their owners have also received a thorough education on handling and understanding their dog!

Do you use Shock collars?

Yes, while we understand the stigma and often misinformation on this training tool, we believe it’s one of the best and most efficient tools. The E collar tool is used for reinforcing and/or correcting an already taught command. It’s NOT used as a form of punishment.

What kind of payment do you take?

We accept the following methods of payment:  Cash, checks, Venmo, Cashapp, and PayPal.

All training bills are due on the 1st of the month. If you do not pay your bill by the 10th of the month we will stop training your dog, and you will then be paying an additional $35 per day per dog boarding fee on top of your training bill. We understand sometimes life happens and if there is communication about your situation we will likely work with you.

What is needed at drop off?

  1. Copy of vet records showing dog is up to date on all vaccinations and heartworm medication

  2. Any medications or supplements your dog is taking such as heartworm medicine, nexgard or bravecto.

  3. Biothane Collar with name plate (we get ours here). Per AKC kennel guidelines dogs need to have collars with ID tags and biothane collars do the best in a training environment and do not hold moisture/smells. Gun dog supply is the best place to order one.

  4. First Months payment upfront. Depending what day of the month you drop off we will likely prorate your first month and then full amount of $800 will be due the first of every month to follow.

  5. Every new client will sign GCKs training contract
