At GCK We Believe in the Power of TEAM

Team GCK didn’t get here on our own. It took a lot of hard work, support, and incredible dogs that helped us build the brand that we love.

We aren’t always great about giving ourselves credit, but we never miss an opportunity to show off what our team can do.

Our Team:

  • GRHRCH LSK's: Love Ya To The Moon MH (Moon)

    Moon, Moon Dog, Moonie B, Moon Pie

    Moon is one of the reasons GCK is what we are. Where some saw a “chocolate dog” that wasn’t worth much, Chase saw not only a companion, but also a champion… which she is.

    Moon is in a very elite percentage of chocolate females who hold a Grand Champion title. She is also a proud member of the 500+ point club

  • HRCH James Garner Maverick (Mav)

    Mav, Maverick, Mavo, Old Man, Big Mav

    You know those dogs that have a cooler life than you? That’s our Mav. When he’s not at GCK, he’s off being a guides best friend!

    Seriously, ask us about his schedule if you’re interested in a dog who will make you look good.

    Last hunting season, Mav picked up over 2200 birds, traveling from Arkansas to Canada.

    Mav has his HRCH.

  • HRCH GCK's: Don't Believe Me Just Watch (Bruno)

    Bruno, Bruins, Pretty Boy, Sunshine (as quoted from Remember the Titans).

    This boy is what some would refer to as the class clown. While he’s always down for a good time, Bruno is one to watch on the field or the hunt.

    Bruno holds his HRCH and is working towards his MH title… when not busy being his Momma’s baby

  • GCK's: Best There's Ever Been (Georgia)

    Georgia, George, Gorga, Baby Girl

    Georgia is no longer the baby of the crew! With a Daddy as the Natty, George has some big shoes to fill… and she has no doubts she will do just that.

  • GCK's: More Than a Feelin' (Boston)

    Boston. Boss. Hossy bossy. Boston Robert.

    This little guy is our sweet reminder that God’s plan is greater than our own.

    This guy is as consistent and steady as they come. Only 16m old and he’s already making a name for himself.

  • GCK's: Run Maggie Run (Maggie)

    Margaret Kathryn, Maggie Kate, Mags

    This darling golden girl is as sweet as she is cute.

    Maggie is busy being a golden and that’s hard work. She is starting her hunt test career and still holds the heart of everyone who meets her.

  • GCK's: Bark At The Moon (Ozzy)

    Ozzy Moon, Oz, Ozzers

    This sweet girl is extra special to team GCK as she is the spitting image of her Momma, Moon.

    Oz is going to be one heck of a duck getting machine. She’s gearing up to start running hunt test and we can’t wait to show the world what she’s made of.

  • CC Sota's: A Girl Named Roux (Ruby)

    Ruby Roux, Roux Roux, Rouxster

    Ruby is such a sweet addition to our team. While she’s not a competition dog, she’s got so much to offer to our team. We can’t wait to breed her with an European important and be able to continue our line of field Goldens.

In Loving Memory

GCK’s: Walkin On Sunshine (Hoka)

Hoka Jane, Hokes, Hoka Puffs

August 9th 2023 - June 23rd 2026

Hoka was our sunshine girl. She was the epitome of joy and talent. She was the answered prayer for the spot we wanted to fill after our sweet Dandy left us too soon.

Hoka was our prize for finding the strength to keep going. She loved Chase with a loyalty that can only be explained by those who have been chosen by a perfect dog. Their bond was undeniable.

After loving Hoka Jane for 10 short months… her perfect heart stopped beating. Unexpectedly, we lost our sunshine girl. We were able to conclude that she had a cardiac arrhythmia. And while we took comfort that our girl knew no pain, it didn’t stop our hearts from breaking.

Hoka will forever leave an impact on our kennel & in our hearts. She was FIERCELY loved and will be missed.

Go get em’ pretty girl. We will catch you on the flip side.

GCK’s: Gimme That Wink (Dandy)

Dandy, Dan, Dan-Dan, Pirate

August 14th 2023 - July 18th 2025

Dandy was our special girl! Dandy suffered an eye injury during what we thought was an accident. After months went by we started noticing other issues such as swelling of her feet, “Breakouts” around her mouth and open sores in her skin. After many doctor visits, meds and tests, it was determined that Dandy had a rare and intense auto-immune disorder.

She was a puppy full of spunk and drive. She never let her circumstances change her outlook. She had incredible work ethic, accuracy, and she loved her people / sport.

She was a constant reminder to team GCK of what real strength looked like. There wasn’t a day that went by that we weren’t proud to call her ours.

She will forever be loved.

Save some ducks for the rest of us, sweet girl.
