Every summer for the months of July and August, GCK loads up our crew and we migrate North, typically to Harrisville, Michigan.

Unlike home in Arkansas, the weather is very mild in the summers — rarely reaching above 80 degrees in the afternoon with very low humidity, and a consistent 10-12mph breeze blowing in off Lake Huron.

The GCK crew can accomplish significantly more training and make larger strides in the dogs progress on this trip.

We enjoy access to multiple technical and natural ponds for our summer training, water, and multiple farms in the area for our land training. This trip also puts us in proximity to multiple hunt tests and field trials for our competition retrievers to run.

Extra expenses do apply, contact us for more details.
